Hello everyone!

It's time for our weekly sessions again with Telenor BIL Tennis. There are some changes this fall compared to the spring period. Firstly, the venue has changed, we will now be playing at Oslo Tennisarena at Hasle. The reason for this is that we managed to obtain more reasonable playing times here, than we had at Snarøya. Our sessions now are at 20.00 on Sundays. Hopefully, this is not too late, I still think it's better than Wednesdays in the middle of lunch :)

Another change is that we now have two courts and two booked hours. However, the second hour we only have one court. For this reason, we can divide the courts into a beginner and advanced session the first hour, and an open session for the second hour if anyone wants to play more. I think the split between beginner and advanced courts will lower the bar especially for beginner players to join without much pressure. If anyone has a better idea for how to use the time, feel free to suggest :)

Hi all tennis-colleagues!

We now have the opportunity to play indoor tennis at Snarøya TK two times a week:

• Tuesdays from 08-09 at lane 3 in the hardcourt bobble
• Thursdays from 12-13 at lane 3 in the hardcourt bobble

First come - first served.

I have not found the ideal way to manage booking, so until further let's try to use a file here on

.

• If you want to play, just add your name next to the date (placeholder in brackets).
• Only the one who books needs to be a paying member
• You can only have one upcoming booking at the time as we need to share the courts between us.
• If there are no bookings three days before, I'll remove the booking, so we don't have to pay for it.

We'll test this now in December, and if this works, we'll continue in January.

Any better ways of doing this is welcome, so please let me know 🙂

(The Padel-group uses Spond, but if we can manage without introducing yet another platform, I think that's easier for everyone...)

Indoor season has started at Snarøya Tennis Klubb and we will have the same setup at their facility as previous years.

If you are a paying member of the Telenor tennis group you have access to the courts at Snarøya TK, primarily for playing with other members. The courts are situated 2 km from Telenor. By bus: line 31 (direction Snarøya) until "Langoddveien". There is a club house with dressing room, which is open most of the time. 

During the indoor season ( Sept-May) we have the following fixed hours in their indoor facility: 

• Every Saturdays 0900-1000 (Court 3) & Sundays 0900-1000 (Court 3)  

Note! To book the Saturday and Sunday hours you need to check availability, in calendar rrs@telenor.com and send a meeting request to this calendar. You also need to have the meeting request accepted!  As previously, if more than two members meet up, the court is to be shared, this approach has never been a challenge in the past

In addition all Tn tennis members can book additional hours, directly in the Snarøya TK online system. Basically you have the same rights as ordinary Snarøya TK members. The cost for one court is app. 200nok per hour payable directly to Snarøya TK, the cost is NOT reimbursable.
